Full description

On this award-winning (almost private) tour, led since 2019 by a single experienced guide with 25 years of experience who works independently, you’ll experience flavors you’ve never tasted before. Your guide will share all the intricacies of Belgian culinary culture and the city’s history.
Your exclusive small-group tour, which feels almost private (maximum 10 people), will include:

- Chocolate; Tasting and learning the secrets of Belgium's chocolate culture, taste 12 different chocolate treats, from ganache, pralines, truffles to chocolate macarons and hot chocolate, while visiting the best chocolate producers in the city.

- Try the traditional Speculoos cookies, prepared according to recipes from the 17th century.

- Continue with a beer tour where you will receive at least 6 generous samples of the best Belgian beers of different styles (Trappist, Abbey, Lambic, microbrewery) paired with local cheese and sausages; including exclusively Westvleteren XII, the best beer in the world, known as the Holy Grail. This is the only tour that offers it in the most authentic and ancient traditional bars.

My wife and I went there; she wanted chocolate, and I wanted beer. In the end, we were both happy. I liked that they don’t rush you through the tour; you can sit back, take your time, smell the aromas, and taste the drinks. The whiskey was surprisingly good, even though I don’t usually drink it. In short, if you’re in Brussels—go for it; you won’t regret it.

I was skeptical because a “food tour” is usually 3 pieces and a story for an hour. Here, on the contrary, they fed from the heart. The chocolate is just fire, the waffles are warm, the beer is Belgian of course. I don’t drink whiskey, but I tried it out of curiosity. The atmosphere is light, without pathos.

Well, what can I say—we really drank and ate our fill. The beer was great, and the whiskey was pretty good too, though I’m more of a beer person. The waffles were fresh, and the chocolate wasn’t that plastic-tasting stuff you find in stores. The guide really knew his stuff and answered even the dumbest questions without getting annoyed. For the price—it was excellent.

My friend and I signed up for this tour; we thought it would be boring and too touristy. But no, we actually really enjoyed it. Chocolate, waffles, beer, whiskey—just a little bit of everything, but by the end, it was really nice. The guide cracked jokes and didn’t bog us down with facts. The only downside—I wanted more waffles, but that’s just my problem.

Honestly, I went for the beer, but in the end, the chocolate was the highlight. Tasting the waffles is a treat all its own, especially with that salted caramel. The whiskey at the end really finished me off; the guide was a cool guy, no fuss. The only thing—my legs were tired, but that’s a minor detail. I recommend it.
